Meet the Woman Behind the Voice

Hi, I’m Kesha, the Founder & Creative Director of All Things Girl World.

While I stay mostly faceless on YouTube, this space is where I give you a closer look at the woman behind the microphone. I’ve always been a storyteller at heart, a massive fan of pop culture, and someone who genuinely loves exploring the deeper meanings behind the movies, shows, and music that stay with us long after the credits roll.

However, my journey didn’t start here. It’s been years in the making.

The Chapters That Led Me Here

I began my creative journey in 2009 as a fashion blogger, sharing trends, style inspiration, and everything us girls love. From there, I transitioned into urban entertainment and music blogging, covering the artists and cultural moments that kept the internet buzzing.

As I grew older, my content naturally evolved. I found my way into lifestyle blogging, where I discovered my true passion: creating safe, comforting spaces specifically for women through my words. In 2018, I landed an internship as a lifestyle content writer for Karen Civil’s Live Civil brand and eventually launched my own lifestyle blog. Those experiences deeply rooted my desire to uplift women through meaningful, intentional storytelling and community building.

The Pivot to Video

After finding my voice in writing, the internet would later experience a major shift. Blogs started to transition into video content, and I found myself at a crossroads. People were no longer consuming media in the way I was used to producing it.

I took a step back to focus on other things, but if you’re a creator, you know the urge to create never truly leaves you. Coming from an era of strictly written content, the pivot to video was intimidating. Being a natural creative who loves using both my mind and my words, I remember thinking, “Okay, how am I going to make this work?” I knew I had more to say and even more to share.

I sat back for a while, consuming content I genuinely loved and soaking up inspiration from the world around me. Eventually, that inspiration pushed me to step into the territory I’d been putting off.

Where Girlhood Meets Womanhood

And that is how All Things Girl World was born on YouTube and eventually AllThingsGirlWorld.com.

I have always loved everything associated with "Girl World," whether through fashion, music, lifestyle, or cinema. I wanted to create a platform that combined all of my creative chapters with nostalgia, femininity, comfort, and connection. I wanted a place where girlhood seamlessly meets womanhood. So, I went for it.

I pour my heart into every video and blog post to ensure the content feels warm, thoughtful, and familiar, like chatting with your best friend about the characters and stories that still live rent-free in your heart.
